Join us today to on local community radio for the Western Wolds to hear about the Environment Agency’s plans to include children’s art at a construction site in Market Weighton (10.40), and Sergeant Pete Rogers returns to update listeners on crime and the 25th anniversary of the Lifestyle Competition (11.15). We also hear about two theatre productions – one at Junction Goole tonight from Shifting Sands Theatre, and a special play for learning disabled people at Hull Truck this coming week.

MILLION SELLERS: Wednesday 8-10 pm

We began the million selling songs of 1975 last Wednesday evening and we were “Walking In Rhythm” up to 10 p.m. Tonight (15 May) we’ll begin with “The Hustle” from Van McCoy & the Soul City Orchestra. I suspect that after 9 p.m. we’ll be sampling 1976, but as that year had 47 million selling songs they’ll be featured next week as well. Great nostalgia!
